Laura Duret loves vintage.
She loves vintage so much that she has based her business around it. Laura currently sells vintage clothing, organises Vintage evenings and is setting up a bespoke service to help clients rediscover their inner glamour, all under the name of Powder Room Vintage.
She looked beautiful in this vintage dress and the space where she houses her pop-up boutique (above Panache in Tunbridge Wells) was a wonderful place to photograph.

Style Savvy workshop - September 2010

A couple of weeks ago I had a great evening at Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. I went along to shoot Sue-Mee Maudsley's Style Savvy workshop. Each of the guests brought along 3 items of their clothing and Sue-Mee showed them how to style it for this season. It was a great evening and fascinating to watch Sue-Mee at work, she really knows her stuff.

Getting four people to jump at the same time, pull a smile and not knock each other out is nigh on impossible. Which is why I love white backgrounds and photoshop jiggery pokery, they really help to make and fun family photo.

It is SO tough choosing the images to use from any wedding. I want to put them all up here and really let them tell the story of the day as I saw it. However, there is not the time, nor the space for that so I have decided on these three - I hope you get an idea of what a lovely and happy day these two shared.

It's been all go here recently with lots of exciting work in progress and I am pleased to be able to announce that my new studio is up and running at last!

The very first session I did was with my family, we all got together and I took some photos of us all for my mum and dad's birthday present - a great way to christen the space.

I first visited Cherry Gardens Organic Farm last year, to shoot some pictures for Playground magazine. This time round I returned to take some more for Cherry Gardens upcoming website. The farm is a great place, full of gorgeous looking fruit, veg and flowers with the opportunity to pick your own. The farm shop is crammed full of organic delights from the farm and further afield.
I will be going back again in September to photograph more delicious produce but until then, feast your eyes on these two pics.
